Key ideas, driven from their experience, inspired the foundation of Tilia in 2009.
First, they believed that new infrastructure and utility services would gradually develop through decentralised dynamics, at the local level. And that enhanced local cooperation could enable stakeholders to address rising environmental challenges, while providing more efficient services to end users and communities and stronger citizen empowerment.
We also foresaw that new governance and management models would be required to face those challenges. Efficient, decentralised cooperation between industries, citizens and municipalities is required in order to upgrade and better connect energies, city planning, water and waste cycles, mobility. They steered some pioneering projects in this field, and they still do.
Tilia brings focus and key competencies to those stakeholders, in strategy, conception and implementation. In a multi-disciplinary, delivery driven perspective, they catalyse local potentials into projects which bring value to communities, and to their clients and partners.See more
