TINSA Ltd. has been founded in 2010 with main scope of activity:

- Verification for the interoperability of the rail system within the Community;

- Verification for the compatibility with the national notified technical rules and the national safety rules.

TINSA Ltd. is a Notified Body NB 2387 as per Directive 2008/57/ЕC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community.

TINSA Ltd. is also a Designated Body per Railway Transport Law and Ordinance № 57, issued by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of Republic of Bulgaria of 09.06.2004.
