The company is engaged in railways, roadways, shipbuilding industry, airports, national defense, hydraulic and hydroelectric works, civil and industrial construction. The business segments of the company are construction, concession, and development and property management. The company has operations in 12 countries in four continents. The company is headquartered at Rome, Italy and employs 3738 people.

The Firm, founded by the late (29th April 2001) Eng. Franco Todini, knighted with the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro, started as a one man company and obtains in 1965 its first registration on the Italian National Construction Roll.
In 1970 the company’s turnover exceeds already 50 million Euro and decides to move its headquarters from Perugia to Rome. Activities, firstly within Italy, extend at the end of the 80s onto the international field, expanding progressively interests towards Eastern European countries, North Africa and South America, reaching a consolidated production value of about 500 million Euro and a backlog of about 1 billion Euro.
In March 1999 Todini Costruzioni Generali Spa obtains certification for its Quality Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001 and in July 2008 certification for its Environmental Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 14001.
Today the Company’s business structure, in terms of human and physical resources, makes it one of the top companies in Europe. It carries out large infrastructures in fields such as roads, railways, airports, hydraulic and hydroelectric works, shipbuilding, national consolidation defence, civil and industrial construction operating moreover in the real estate and concessions.
The shares of the Company, which is part of SALINI GROUP since 2010, are held by SALINI SpA (77,7%) and TODINI FINANZIARIA SpA (22,3%).
