About

The goal of the project "Together for Active Civil Society - ACT" is an active civil society where citizens are more involved in decision-making processes, especially at the local level.

The Government of Switzerland, through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), has committed a total of € 4.8 million for the implementation of the first phase of the program from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2023.

The ACT project is being implemented by the Swiss non-governmental organization HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and the Citizens' Initiatives Association for Democracy and Civic Education.
