Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) is the management unit of the companies Ferrocarril Metropolità de Barcelona, SA, and Transports de Barcelona, SA, operating the Bus and Metro network jointly on behalf of Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB).
It also includes the companies Projectes i Serveis de Mobilitat, SA, which manages the Montjuïc cable car; Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona, SL, which manages fare products via the Hola Barcelona e-commerce platform and other transport services, as well as the TMB Foundation, which ensures the conservation of TMB heritage and promotes the values of public transport through social and cultural activities
