The mission of the U.S. Mission to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS is to promote U.S.-Eastern Caribbean relations in sustainable economic growth, good governance, and support of a vibrant civil society.

Policy and History

The United States has a robust policy of engagement with the people and governments of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.  On a daily basis, they work together closely on issues including security, trade and economics, energy, health and the environment.
