Air Traffic Service
One of the main objectives of UkSATSE is to provide Air traffic services (ATS) in the Ukrainian airspace and in the airspace over the high sea, where the responsibility for ATS is delegated to Ukraine by international agreements. Air traffic services are provided by ATS units, which are part of air traffic management centres.
The management of ATM centre and ATS units is regulated by the Documents of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE approved by UkSATSE Order No. 246 dated 14.07.2017
Documents of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE contain samples of Regulation on ATS units, samples of duty regulations for ATS specialists, samples of operational instructions for ATS units and other regulatory and guidance material that is meant to help the managers of Air Navigation Service Department of UkSATSE to organize the work of its ATS units.
Mission
The main mission of the company is to provide high-quality and safe air navigation services in the airspace of Ukraine and in the airspace over the open sea, where the responsibility for air traffic services in international agreements is assigned to Ukraine, taking into account the existing and expected needs of airspace users and market conditions air transport services in Ukraine and in the European region.
UkSATSE is the basis of the national aeronautical system and the United Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System of Ukraine (OTSVS).

State regulation in the field of civil aviation and use of airspace of Ukraine is carried out within the limits of authority:
The central executive body, which ensures the formation of the state policy in the field of transport, defines the priority directions and takes measures on the formation of the state policy in the field of air transport and use of airspace of Ukraine and provides regulatory legal regulation.
The implementation of the state policy on the use of airspace of Ukraine on the basis of joint decisions is ensured by the authorized civil aviation authority and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
