Since the end of 2005 the UniCredit Group has also been active in Republika Srpska via UniCredit Bank Banja Luka, the former Nova Banjalucka Banka.

The bank was founded in 1911 and privatised in 2002. It focuses on small and medium-sized businesses and retail customers, but it has also a very developed Corporate Division. With a network of 65 offices UniCredit Bank Banja Luka serves about 260,000 retail customers in Republika Srpska.
