The functions of the Provincial Executing Unit (UEP) are the coordination, project formulation, execution, supervision and implementation of provincial programs that have financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD, World Bank), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), FONPLATA (Financial Fund for the Development of the River Plate Basin Countries), the National Treasury and/or other credit or subsidy agencies, and in the relationship between the Provincial State and said organisms. Likewise, represent the Province before the Central Executing Unit and before the International Financial Organizations.
The main objective is the promotion of provincial socio-economic development through the administration and execution of investment projects selected, prepared, evaluated, executed, supervised and articulated within the framework of public policies that emanate from the Provincial Executive Power.
