United Nations Development Programme Nepal (UNDP Nepal)
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results.
In Nepal, UNDP works together with the people and the Government Nepal, international development partners and the private sector in helping the country achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on three key areas: inclusive economic growth, democratic governance, rule of law and human rights and resilience, disaster risk reduction and climate change. UNDP works in coordination with other UN agencies in Nepal, and its activities are guided by its Country Programme Document (2018-2022) agreed with the Government of Nepal under the broader United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2018-2022See more
