UTPS (Unity Through Population Service) established in 1983 to promote Family Planning, MCH, Literacy, General Health treatment micro credit program and other social services.

- To Improve Reproductive Health through providing quality Reproductive Health Care Services.

 - UTPS awarded as best vaccinator of Zone-4 by Dhaka North City Corporation.

 - A partner NGO of Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project since 2000.

- Under UPHCSDP, services started from January, 2013

Project Objectives

- Provide health care services through Essential Service Package(ESP) to the privileged people of the Project Areas 

- Reduce Preventable mortality and morbidity 

- Provide safe delivery facilities 

- Creation of awareness on STD/RTI/HIV/AIDS and other health hazards 

- 100% EPI coverage 

- Reduce Population growth rate 

- Involve Gob, NGO & Private sector agencies to ensure accessibility of services at affordable cost

Project Goal

- The goal of the UPHCSDP is to improve the health of the urban poor by improving access in health services and changing the way in which health services are provided in urban areas.
