The ISA University emerged in 1962 is a vocational institute, at the initiative of the Association for Development, Inc. (APEDI), responding to the needs of an essentially agricultural economy and a society of basically rural origin. To carry out this initiative, APEDI had the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Dominican Government.\
Their institution offers options that include different areas of knowledge, both at the technical, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Likewise, they care about the training of human resources for their society, being a space that focuses on generating technologies and services to the productive sectors.
