Universidad Latinoamericana was founded in February 1976, as a non-profit civil society.

The Latin American University has four campuses: Campus Valle, Campus Florida, Campus Morelos and Campus Norte; with a population of approximately 3,500 students; It is made up of two High Schools, fifteen Bachelor's Degrees, six Specialties, six Master's Degrees and a Doctorate in Humanities, as well as a Computer Center on each Campus and a Language Center.
