GEA-CONSULT was established in 1999 with the aim to develop studies, surveys and socio-economic consultancy in the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Catholic University of Mozambique. Its mission is to establish the connection between the UCM-Faculty of Economics and Management and the communities in which it operates (Sofala province), in order to assist them in solving socio-economic problems of everyday life. has two main areas of activity, within which conducted numerous projects: consulting, focusing on research in the areas of Management and Economics, and publication of articles and scientific papers in the areas.
The Business Centre GEA CONSULT offers rental services for apartments, offices and conference areas.
Human Resources GEA CONSULT is proud to belong to the Catholic University of Mozambique and having executives as members, and members of the Coordinator Advisory Board, staff trained by the UCM.

Activities of research and consultancy will be carried out by teachers and students college and only in case of necessity have recourse to external sources to the Faculty of Economics and Management. In 2012, GEO CONSULT will, in coordination with the Faculty of Economics and Management, open the company JR. The junior company is created, not to consolidate the areas of action of the GEA (Research and Consultancy) but within the social responsibility of EGF to provide free consulting services to surrounding communities. The company office is located in JR campus of the College. GEA CONSULT also serves as the liaison between the students of the Faculty and other companies. Many among these students apply for the Faculty of Economics to do research work and field survey, scanning and data analysis.
