The Faculty of Public Health currently has two undergraduate courses: Nutrition and Public Health.

Public Health

The graduate in public health must have a generalist, humanistic, critical and reflexive formation in the field of public health or collective health. Their training should incorporate knowledge in the areas of interface and determination of the health situation, such as biological sciences, human and social sciences, epidemiology, health policy and management, environmental sciences, in order to develop the following competencies:

• Understand the process of production of the main health problems;
• Formulate and implement health policies;
• Develop, implement and manage health information systems (in the area of ​​management, collective health and environmental health);
• Propose and recommend actions for health promotion, prevention, monitoring and control of environmental risks, diseases and health problems in the collective sphere.
• Administer, manage, monitor and evaluate health systems, services and programs and environmental health in different areas.
