The Department of Social and Policy Sciences at the University of Bath brings together insights and approaches from across social policy, sociology, and international development. Our academic staff have expertise across a range of topics such as insecurity and conflict, displacement and humanitarian response, refugees, global political economy, development and well-being, childhood and youth, and gender.

 

We offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses across social and policy sciences, including a new distance-learning MSc Humanitarianism, Conflict and Development, and campus-based MSc International Development with pathways.
