Miyazaki University's Philosophy and Objectives (Basic Goal)

They pursue inheritance and development of intellectual heritage concerning academic, cultural and technological as a wisdom crystal of mankind, and exploration of deep scientific principles. Also, mission is to train personnel capable of responding to diverse demands of changing times and society. Furthermore, it contributes to the development of the academic and cultural aspects of the community and the well-being of the residents. In particular, in addition to creating interdisciplinary life sciences that contribute to the welfare and prosperity of mankind, they also intend to science for preservation of the global environment that has nurtured life.

Miyazaki University Future Vision

In October 2003, Miyazaki University merged with former Miyazaki University and Miyazaki Medical University to create a new slogan "Miyazaki University" consisting of Faculty of Education and Culture, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Agriculture, and a slogan "Let's start from the world with a view to the world" They have actively worked on distinctive university reforms making full use of the benefits of promotion, integration and corporateization.
