Veyseloglu Group of Companies is one of the largest employers in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan with more than 20,000 employees.
Veyseloglu Group of Companies started its activity in 1994 as a sales and distribution company. On November 5 of the same year, "Veyseloglu Distribution" company was founded by carrying out the first import of biscuits and cookies from Turkey to Azerbaijan by TIR. Expanding its activities since 1997, the company currently distributes 4025 types of products of many well-known brands of the world throughout the country.
In 2001, Veyseloglu Group of Companies founded "Ulduz" Chocolate Factory. This factory, which won the status of "National brand" in the field of confectionery products, mainly produces chocolate candies, caramels, boxed chocolates, dragee and wafer products.
In 2010, the first company of the Group of Companies outside the country – VG LLC (Veyseloglu Georgia), started its activities. With more than 3,500 outlets, VG LLC cooperates with more than 30 manufacturers from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Poland, India and other countries. VG has four offices in Tbilisi, Georgia, Kutaisi and Batumi and two warehouses in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
On May 7, 2011, Veyseloglu group of companies took the first step into the retail sector and established "Azretail" LLC operating under "Araz" brand. With the slogan "Wherever you are, "Araz" is there", "Araz" supermarket chain serves its customers with more than 300 stores across the country.
"Oba", chain of discount convinence stores with more than 1,300 outlets spread to all regions of the country was set up in 2016 to expand the consumer basket of the population by offering more products within the same budget and to enable local producers to sell their products in the network markets without brand costs.
In February 2016, the Khoncha Bakery Factory was established, which offers a variety of sweets and other bakery products to customers in the Araz supermarket chain.
In the background of the economic reforms carried out in the country in the same year, Veysaloglu Group of Companies established "V-Trade" through distribution, increasing the import of sugar, leguminous products and other basic food products in a large volume and supporting price stability in the country.
In 2017 Logistics Center was established. The Center provides more than 500 trucks to deliver products to over 12,000 outlets.
"Vesta-Horeka" distribution, which supplies quality and affordable raw materials in the food and service sector, started operating in 2018.
In 2022, Veyseloglu Group of Companies started offering products to its customers on a new line. The new company "Veyseloglu-Rossmann" provides customers with health and personal care products of the German brand "Rossmann".
In 2002 the Group of Companies, together with other partners, redeveloped the national water brand Sirab by investing in the reconstruction of Sirab mineral water plant.
Veyseloglu Group of Companies and other partners brought Entrée cafe to Azerbaijan in 2014. There are currently several cafes in the country with this well-known brand under the franchise law.
