In line with the rich construction tradition immanent in the Vinkovci area, during last years the company Vodoprivreda Vinkovci has been developing through execution of construction works in the civil engineering sector. Development resulted with specialization particularly in the construction and maintenance of hydro technical structures.
Since 1924 and contemporary Water Cooperatives and changing different water management organization modes in Croatia, finally in 1997 Vodoprivreda Vinkovci was registered as joint stock company since when the company was intensively developing, increasing its turnovers and number of employees.
Today Vodoprivreda Vinkovci is a joint stock company whose majority shares are owned by employees, while a smaller share by the Vukovar-Srijem County and Croatian Waters. The Company headquarters are located in the City of Vinkovci and registered in the Osijek Commercial Court register under subject registration number 030022973. Out of 187 employed people, 22 are high experts while others represent qualified working force adequate for the specific work executed by their Company. However, the people engaged in the construction sector, construction and water-construction workers, carpenters, steel workers, drivers and mechanics are the Company’s key resource. Along with high quality employees and established project design department, they also have modern mechanization for the construction and maintenance of hydro-technical constructions, facilities for gravel exploitation and refinement.
In order to secure safety of people and objects during the realization of contracted works they organize and implement all necessary measures for technical and fire protection as well as environmental protection. They endeavour to base the development and the overall business activities on sustainable development principles and socially responsible behaviour.
