About
V&R Editoras was founded in 1996 with the conviction that feelings do not recognize borders or ages. Thus was conceived the first Latin American publisher of gift books that today is a multinational company that publishes more than 120 annual news by language from its three headquarters Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. Their books reach all the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America and all of Brazil in Portuguese. They have authors of the stature of Jeff Kinney, Paulo Coelho, James Dashner, Clarice Lispector, Ilan Brenman, Canela, Marisa Meyer, John Maxwell, Alejandra Stamateas, Maru Botana, Ava Dellaira and Chris Colfer, among many others. In each of the lines of their catalog they have stood out with editorial successes.
Throughout these years, what began as a niche publisher was unfolding as a fan and was incorporating genres, new catalog lines and products, ebooks, audiobooks, different distribution channels and different ways of doing business. The launch of VR YA in Spanish and Plataforma 21 in Brazil, their labels for young readers, produced a turning point in the way they communicate with the public. Through a great presence and proactivity in social networks, they managed to position themselves as a benchmark among their readers and followers.
When there is good content, there is no language or format that limits it.
Those guiding principles that were the cornerstone of this publishing house continue to support them:
• Publish books that do well
• Take care of the content, design and graphic quality
• Be creative and innovative
They are designers with a positive culture. They learned that creativity is much more than a tool. They are aware that cultural diversity is one of their strengths and that what they are today is the result of the synergy of their teams. They love what they do. And that is the great engine to create books that do well.
