WATHI is a think tank and a toolbox constantly called to adapt to the reality of West African countries. A space for collective thinking and action, WATHI aims to change the national trajectories of the West African countries and to transform the region. WATHI intends to examine the realities of the countries in the WATHI region to be able to focus the energy, time, creativity and collective knowledge of its men and women on the most important issues, to improve the present and change the future.
The vision of WATHI is that of peaceful, dignified, productive and supportive societies in West Africa and a West Africa open to all regions of the African continent and to the world.
WATHI is the unbridled ambition to change the present and the future of West Africa to its neighboring regions, making time, waati in the Bamanakan language of Mali, an ally. The time of WATHI is that of the urgency of collective mobilization and that of the long duration which is essential for any profound transformation of human societies.
