The Win-Win Coalition supports women and girls globally by expanding the resources available to empower women and advance women’s rights through enhanced cross-sector collaboration, particularly between the corporate sector and women’s organizations and funds.
GOALS AND ACTIVITIES
The Coalition is a structured, global network of companies, foundations, organizations and individuals working to empower women and advance their rights. Coalition members are dedicated to facilitating work across sectors to deepen the impact of women’s empowerment programs for women, business and society.
The coalition exists within Win-Win Strategies, a non-profit social enterprise established in the Netherlands (WWS). WWS evolved out of the Coalition to expand on, and operationalize, the work of the Coalition and its members.
The Coalition is premised on the idea that progress on women's empowerment will require a multi-faceted, integrated approach that goes beyond access to financial resources to address issues such as freedom from violence, access to reproductive health and voice in society in order to achieve lasting change.
To address these complex issues, new partnerships that leverage sector-specific expertise are needed. The Win-Win Coalition provides a space for organizations and individuals dedicated to women's empowerment from across sectors to engage in collective learning and advance new collaborations with the support of an expert and engaged community.
The Coalition supports Win-Win Strategies to:
Increase knowledge and awareness of the value in supporting and partnering with women’s funds and grassroots women’s organizations in the design and implementation of women’s empowerment programs globally;
Design and implement women's empowerment programs across corporate value chains using an integrated approach to enhance social and business returns;
Develop robust tools to support the evaluation of the social and business impact of corporate and other women’s empowerment programs, as well as better communications techniques for cross-sector dialogue;
Facilitate partnerships to create new and impactful cross-sector collaborations; and
Expand resources available for women’s rights and empowerment work globally.See more
