Every day WIND network carries over 20 million calls and more than 80 TB of data. In landline telephony, WIND continuously expands its own fiber optic network, to offer ultra-fast connectivity speeds to consumers as well other carriers (wholesale). WIND was the first operator in Greece to offer Fiber to the Home services in the city of Kalamata in June 2017 and since then the fiber optic network is expanding at an intense pace with the aim of reaching 442,000 lines nationwide up to the end of 2019.
This year, WIND launched its own streaming TV service. WIND VISION, is a new TV experience that brings together a wealth of on demand streaming content, traditional TV channels and user generated video content -, into an open platform, a unique user interface that integrates innumerous entertainment options - first to integrate Netflix - and connects users to the content of their choice, on demand, in a multiscreen mode.
