The organization is registered under the Non-Governmental Organization Act, No. 24 of 2002 with registration number 00NGO/0009377.WoteSawa is led by a young staff team with former CDWs in its staff and governance positions, supported by advisory committees established in their operating areas. Its focus is to advocate for the rights of Child Domestic Workers (CDWs) and counter Child Trafficking. Its formulation was stipulated by Child Domestic Workers who refused to remain silent to advocate for their own basic rights

WOTESAWA envisages a righteous and responsible society in which every Child Domestic Worker is free from all forms of abuse and exploitation.
MISSION
WOTESAWA strives to empower current and former Child Domestic Workers to understand, safeguard, promote and reinforce their rights in Tanzania through legal and economic empowerment, child abuse monitoring, psychosocial support and policy reforms in conformity to the national and international child welfare standards.
The overall goal of the organization is to contribute to the reduction of all forms of abuse and exploitation against Child Domestic Workers in Tanzania, through legal and economic empowerment and other interventions strategies.
