Xerox India Ltd. began operations in 1983 through a joint venture. In 1999, the joint ventures were merged, and the enterprise is now a Xerox majority-owned subsidiary owned and operated by Xerox. Xerox India markets a wide range of Xerox products and services and has manufacturing and software development centers in New Delhi. The Xerox India Innovation Hub opened in Chennai in 2010. The company employs more than 500 people and is expanding its countrywide network of local partners, dealers and resellers.
