Yamba Malawi, formerly goods for good, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Melissa Kushner in 2006 with the vision of creating a world where strong, self-reliant communities build brighter futures for children. Leveraging over thirteen years of community relationships, Yamba Malawi has intimate knowledge of the challenges facing Malawi’s youth. Utilizing experience with both direct support for children and economic development, Yamba Malawi created their Childhoods & Livelihoods Program to uplift Malawi’s most vulnerable children by building local businesses and by enabling investment in children’s care.
