Yapı Kredi Finansal Kiralama A.O. was founded on February 19, 1987 with the aim of engaging in national and international financial leasing.

In 2006, the sector's two major companies, Yapı Kredi Finansal Kiralama (Yapı Kredi Financial Leasing) and Koç Leasing merged with Koç Finansal Hizmetler A.Ş.(Koç Financial Services Joint Stock Co.) and Yapı Kredi Bank to continue their operations under the name of Yapı Kredi Finansal Kiralama A.O. (Yapı Kredi Financial Leasing Corporation).

Yapı Kredi Leasing today continues, in the 14 regions it operates in throughout Turkey, to promote technological innovations with its workforce of experts, working with the goal of expanding its financial leasing market.
