In January 2020, Żabka Polska moved its headquarters to a modern office at ul. Matya in Poznań. In March, the COVID-19 pandemic was announced, changing reality.

Zabka reacts to new needs, and from the very beginning has been very actively involved in the fight against the coronavirus. It provided PLN 4.5 million for the disposal of the Ministry of Health and PLN 2 million for the purchase of diagnostic tests for hospitals. Together with franchisees, it provided local financial and material support for medical institutions and charities. It introduced nearly 30 million masks for sale without profit. It engaged users of the żappka application to support 16 infectious diseases hospitals, thanks to which their accounts receive a total of PLN 3 million.
