The company was established in June 1991 as private partnership providing maintenance and modernisation services for train control and communication units. The company specialises in JEA-29 switch drives maintenance.

Zakłady Automatyki KOMBUD S.A. was established in June 1991. Over the past 20 years of activity in the railway signaling industry, the company has built a strong and sustainable market position, winning the trust of even the most demanding customers. At present, the company has more than 200 full time employees, including more than 100 automation and electronics engineers.

Since 2001, Zakłady Automatyki KOMBUD S.A. has been maintaining the Quality Management System based on ISO9001 to comply with its requirements, ensure high quality of products and services, and optimize the existing processes.

The fundamental goal of the QMS was to develop mechanisms for identification of our Clients' requirements and expectations regarding power supply, signaling, construction and assembly of train control units, industrial automation, as well as optimising the production and delivery processes.

The Board is committed to analysis of the market requirements and secures the necessary development resources. The key activities include qualification development programme for our employees, workplace improvements, production process modernization, and implementing new technologies.

At the moment, the system complies with the norm PN-EN ISO9001:2009, and has the Quality Certificate No 0198 100 00823 valid until 28-08-2016.
