Faiza Alam is an experienced Market Systems Development/ M4P (Making Markets Work for the Poor) practitioner with a unique skill set of technical knowledge in gender and Women's Economic Empowerment, agricultural value chains, research, monitoring, and evaluation tools, project management, donor reporting, and field staff training expertise. With almost 5 years of work experience, she has provided technical support to design, implement and manage 5 flagship WEE led projects (valuing ~EUR 400,000 and beneficiary outreach of ~ 35,000 women farmers in vegetable, fish and prawn value chains) in South Asia- Bangladesh. Faiza also holds technical and scientific knowledge of identifying and treating non- communicable diseases from her Bachelors in Pharmacy. She is well versed in climate change, environmental sustainability, climate finance of UN standards, and disaster risk management from her Masters in Environmental Science and Management where she graduated with a Cum Laude degree.
