Executive with over 25 years of experience implementing large and complex USAID funded projects in the areas of public health; nutrition; water sanitation and hygiene; agriculture and livelihood; community development and governance across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. As Chief of Party and Country Representative over 8 long term overseas assignments in Africa, Latin America, and Asia (Zambia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Republic of Georgia, Madagascar, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Rwanda) lead multidisciplinary and multicultural teams for contracts, cooperative agreements and grants totaling over $300 million USD employing over 400 expatriate and local staff. Worked collaboratively with public and private stakeholders including local governments, donor agencies, implementing partner organizations and private sector operators. In addition to leadership and management experience, technical expert in social marketing, social behavior change, community-based services, and standard based performance and quality improvement systems. Also provided short-term technical assistance to projects in Ukraine, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, China, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, South Africa, Lesotho, Morocco, Jordan, Honduras, and Haiti.
