I Joined Rand Water in February 2015, one of the biggest Water Utilities in Africa, and am responsible for Knowledge Management and Special Priority Programmes. Prior to that I spent more than 15 years as a senior manager in the Dept of Water Affairs, South Africa since 1999, holding positions of Director: Institute for Water Quality Studies, Chief Director: Scientific Services/Water Resources Information, Deputy Director-General of Water Policy and Regulation (2010-2013), and Special Advisor to the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs. Served in various governing boards of scientific organisations both as member & chair, incl. UNESCO IHP National Committee.
