Aaron Halegua

Aaron Halegua is a lawyer and consultant affiliated with NYU Law School with expertise on international labor law and worker rights, China, access to justice, business and human rights, human trafficking/forced labor, and CSR and supply chains. He has experience in the US, China, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, and elsewhere. Aaron has worked for Apple, Ford Foundation, International Labour Organization, British Academy, Brown University, Asia Foundation, International Labor Rights Forum, Asia Society Policy Institute, PILnet, and Solidarity Center. He has consulted on labor law reform, provided technical assistance, published reports on rule of law and access to justice, organized stakeholder meetings, conducted fieldwork on human trafficking, and done program evaluations. As a practicing attorney, he has litigated numerous employment disputes and other matters.
