In the recent past, I was based in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Training Coordinator for Local Government Reforms Unit funded by United Nations Development Programme, Merged Area Governance Project. My work involved planning, curriculum development, monitoring, and conducting training sessions besides being responsible for administration and coordination work. Prior to this, I worked in DAI Tabeer as Training Coordinator for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, conducted full range of trainings for polling staff across KP & FATA for General Elections 2018 and also as Provincial Training Officer for the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Pakistan. I worked as Provincial Education Coordinator, training & material development for Global Partnership for Education, funded by the World Bank and also worked at the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) as Team Leader for Balochistan. I successfully completed the emergency response project for people affected by the floods here by timely distribution of NFIs, Tents, Health & Hygiene Kits. Besides this, I have also worked as General Manager NCHD Balochistan, Manager Training & Development for TRC Karachi and Provincial Training Coordinator for a UNDP project in Islamabad. I have over fifteen years of experience in leading capacity development initiatives policy-based and evaluation research and the engagement of key stakeholders from the government and civil society sectors to put the capacity development strategies and research recommendations into operation. I have worked with various organizations, including governmental and civil society organizations to develop their institutional capacity by developing training curriculum, building Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems and capacity development strategies for improved project management. I have also built the knowledge and engagement of end-users and key decision-makers by developing tailored communication material and through training and one-on-one support. In addition, I have led implementation of capacity building initiatives and research projects that have led to improvements in governmental and civil society policy and practice. My leadership experience includes leading planning, facilitating, monitoring, and evaluation for the DAI in Pakistan and leading the development of training material for Security personnel, polling staff trainings at large-scale programs across KP. I have been able to adapt and apply my capacity development and research skills and knowledge to work in a number of areas, ranging from governance education and skills the rights of women and girls, persons with disabilities, community physical infrastructure microcredit community-driven-development livelihoods School Health programs community awareness-raising for polio leadership emergency response, road safety and arts and culture. I also have varied experience in terms of countries and funders. I have worked on programs and projects across Pakistan and those funded by the local, provincial and federal governments of Pakistan the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) the Department for International Development (DFID) the British Council the World Bank the CIDA, NMFA and the European Union (EU).
