After many years of working directly with diverse professional and in different socio-cultural settings; I’m seeking to leverage my experience in monitoring and evaluation within different sectors at different levels. My experience in information management and monitoring system as well as program management in different NGOs and governmental organizations have skilled me on project management and M/E. I’m passionate about data quality, digitalization and information use. I have nearly ten years of practical experience in information management and monitoring and evaluation system as monitoring and evaluation officer, advisor and quality assurance officer, working at MSH, ICAP, Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia. Besides I have worked for NNPWE and MOH and lead the program at regional and facility level. I ensured data quality, I produced and presented periodic reports for donors and partners, lead M/E related capacity building activities, participate on DIP preparation and M/E tools development, collect data, analyze and interpret the result with respect to time, place and person. All these have broadened my skill in information management and M/E system. My educational background makes me even more appropriate for this position. I hold a master’s degree in public health from University of Gondar and Bachelor’s degree in Public health from University of Haramaya. I understand the concept of public health in different settings. In addition I received different short term trainings related with program and information management. I’m skillful in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, MS-word, excel, PPT, outlook, using statistical software packages (SPSS, STATA, Epi-info, open code) and ArcGIS.
