Summary

I am a development sector consultant working in both strategy and on-the-ground implementation of projects that serve the base of the pyramid. My specific areas of interest include education, livelihood and ethical supply chains. I graduated with an MBA in 2017 from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford in UK, curating my experience to focus on Strategy and Social Impact. I was awarded the Weidenfeld Hoffman-Louis Dreyfus-Said Scholarship by the University, comprising a full scholarship for the MBA, based on potential to create impact in the development sector. Prior to the MBA, I had 5 years of professional work experience - 2 years in the social and public sectors, and 3 years in corporate consulting. I worked as a Gandhi Fellow with the NGO Kaivalya Education Foundation for the low income public education sector, and as a consultant with EY and KPMG in fraud investigation, risk consulting and process improvement. Under the aegis of the Gandhi Fellowship, I spent a month living in the slums of Mumbai and co-founded a project called Urjayati to fund and mentor slum kids to help them go back to school, which was briefly covered on national television in India for conceptualization. I also interned with Sattva Consulting in Bangalore for 2 months in 2016, consulting on strategy and implementation of social impact projects, and with the CDC Group in London for 2.5 months in 2017, working on Responsible Investments. My interests include reading, spirituality and eating my way through rural areas.
