Adjoa Acquaah-Harrison is a Ghanaian-born-American strategic planner and executive in international development and philanthropy. Adjoa has over 25 years of leadership roles, beginning her development career at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington, D.C. She has worked extensively in fundraising and grantwriting as Director of Development for various medium and small US nonprofits, including the WGBH Educational Foundation, United for A Fair Economy, and as Executive Consultant to the YWCA-Boston. Adjoa has presented workshops for the Philanthropy Massachusetts and the New England Chapter of the Grants Professionals Association. She is a regular instructor at the Brookline Center for Adult Education and previously also at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Internationally, Adjoa presents leadership and fundraising sessions for NGO founders and management teams. She founded WingSpan Philanthropy Advisors,(Ghana), to support NGOs, and she led a US team of doctors on a feasibility study trip related to a proposed public-private partnership project in Ghana.
