Dr. Adugna Woyessa is an epidemiologist and researcher in infectious diseases who mainly contributed to filling the knowledge gap in the epidemiology of highland malaria and designed a proxy malaria surveillance tool (ENACTS, new climate dataset) applicable at the district level for the elimination program. And engaged in knowledget management (reviewer and research synthesis) and monitoring the health impacts of climate change and variability at the continental and regional scales, Africa.
