Has almost ten years of experience in the international development sector, with a particular focus on intersections of governance, development, and human rights issues. This experience accumulated throughout working with development cooperation agencies, academic institutions, civil society organisations, and government institutions across the MENA region. My professional experience articulated in the areas of program management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity development, institutional reform, participatory research, electoral processes, policy analysis, and conflict analysis. Over the past decade, I had an extensive hands-on and research experience working in several countries in the region includes Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, and Iraq- Kurdistan. While studying my masters’ degree in Governance, Development and Public Policy at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex; I build a strong understanding of linking between theory and practice with excellence engagement framework. A considerable portion of my previous working experience tied with strengthening the capacity of CSOs and State institutions during transition to democracy, as well as working beside women and youth groups in public policy analysis and formulation, human rights promotion and education, civic engagement, accountability, active participation and community empowerment. Moreover, I have taken a central role in programs supported and funded by a various number of donor agencies such as; BMZ, EU, USAID and SIDA.
