I specialize in the social dimensions of tropical forest resource management and have over ten years of experience with forest ecology and social science research; implementation of social-environmental projects with smallholders and traditional peoples that required engagement with diverse stakeholders; and management of environmental campaigns and reforestation projects. I hold a Master of Forest Science degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development with a specialization in Food Security and Agriculture. My published research has focused on governance of forest restoration and management in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and has been cited by CIFOR and by key researchers in the field. I am currently seeking consultancies in which I can apply my community engagement and field skills to projects addressing forest restoration, sustainable development, social safeguards, and regenerative agriculture.
