A public health specialist with years of experience in programs management and coordination, in malaria, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health in West Africa. I have experience working with the private, non-governmental and public health sector and in managing large multicultural teams in complex environments.
I have a master’s in Public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and I am current master’s in Public Administration and Edward Mason Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Prior to HKS, I was the Programme Officer for DFID founded project on Adolescent Reproductive Health with the Palladium Group in Ghana, where I provided technical support to government institutions on policy and evidence based strategies to reduce adolescent morbidity and mortality and advocated for better policies for young people. I offered technical assistance and capacity building to strengthen data use that guided public health programs. I worked with local institutions in country to build their capacity to carry out monitoring and evaluation activities and ensured data quality. I also provide leadership in pioneering approaches to increase demand for and use of health data, helped decision makers make the best use of data to identify health issues, monitor interventions and make mid-course corrections when necessary.
