Alejandro Paredes Trapero

Winner of the 2015 PMI Award for Project Excellence – Latin America and IASP Member of the Year 2016 Regional Director, Executive Director, Project Manager, Strategist, Consultant, International Speaker, University Professor. Alejandro has over 25 years of experience and study on leadership, management, project management, strategic planning, organizational and international development. Current Project Director (Chief of Party) of the Central American Service Corps (CASC) implemented by Glasswing International and funded by USAID and the private sector. Former Program Director IPARD Program implemented by FSC-IF. Former COP – Chief of Party/Regional Director of the USAID/LAC/RSD Regional Workforce Development Program ADVANCE / FHI 360. Previously he was COP of Project METAS/EDC (Education Development Center). Also he worked as Planning and Monitoring Director in FHIS (Social Honduran Investment Fund) with a project portfolio of World Bank, IDB, USAID, CABEI, Spanish Cooperation, etc. He was the Implementation Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC - Honduras). He has been consultant on strategic planning, project management, university professor and keynote speaker in international congresses in Latin America. He holds a PhD (Cum Laude) in Economics and Business Administration from the European University of Madrid - Spain, a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University International Cooperation - Costa Rica, an international PMP certification (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), a strategic SPP certification (Strategic Planning Professional) from the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) and a Specialization in Management Development at the George Washington University. Past President founder of the Honduras PMI Chapter and Past President Founder of the Honduras Strategic IASP Chapter.
