You can see my CV at: https://m.box.com/view/199045900918 I obtained my Bachelor of Arts at the French speaking College Brebeuf, in Montreal in 1961. During my college years, I joined the Royal Canadian Navy Reserves (UNTD) and earned my officer's commission in 1961. In 1961, I attended post graduate courses in Economics at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and Munich. In 1963, I returned to Montreal and obtained my Charter Accountant degree at the University of McGill in 1966. In 1967, I went to Venzuela with PriceWaterhouse, then in 1970, I was transferred to their offices in Duesseldorf Germany. In 1971, I joined the International Finance Corporation (IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group) in a new unit doing Portfolio Supervision. In 1975, I became an Investment Officer working on Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. In 1980, I was promoted to Division Chief in charge of investments in North and West Africa. In 1986, I founded the Africa Project Development Facility (APDF) which helped small medium sized enterprises prepare business plans and put together the needed funding. I ran APDF from 1986 through 1994 when I became the World Bank Group Resident Representative in Germany. In 1995, I was detached by IFC to become the CEO of the African Management Services Company (Amsco) which was an executive placement company providing some 250 senior managers to African enterprises. I returned to Washington in 1999 and retired in in 2001. Specialties: Since retirement, I have been on the board of the World Bank Alumni Society, 1818 Society. I represent the 1818 Society on the World Bank Pension Administration Commitee and am the webmaster of the Society webpage:www.worldbank.org/1818. I also volunteer at Dulles airport as part of the Travellers' aid organization. I am also currently studying Mandarin and spend time each year on my own in China improving my Mandarin.
