Summary

Campaigner against the harmful practice of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C). I am a very committed and highly motivated social and community worker who worked on many different projects to tackle FGM/FGC involving the European Union, organizations such as Manor Gardens, UNICEF, Equality Now, DFID (Girl Summit) in the UK. My interests is supporting and empowering communities to tackle the practice whilst educating and providing information through facilitated workshops and training programs. As a UK Campaigner speaking at high level meetings, Conference, media about the impact the practice has on the lives women and girls in the UK and abroad. Whilst advocating and calling for an end to the practice in this generation. I'm also involved in this work because of my commitment to help others and to contribute to change the global perception of women’s rights and in particular FGM/C issue.
