Summary

I started my career as a young social worker and transitioned from working with individuals and groups to working with communities. that amongst others included at different times of my career fundraising, research, negotiations; counseling; training and administration. My employment moved over to management and development of an NGO (1995) to become a national player within the response to a national epidemic, HIV/AIDS. That I achieved successfully with the growth of LifeLine/ChildLine in Namibia from a small telephone based counselling service to a national organisation offering support to a wide variety of people needing support in the areas of relationships, HIV/AIDs, domestic violence, addictions etc. In my work career I have for a number of years worked with funders such as USAID; Brot fur die Welt; Kindernothilfe; SIDA; UNICEF; Johanitter Hilfswerke; French Cooperation; GTZ; Shell Exploration; NAMDEB; Pupkewitz Holdings; Standard Bank Namibia; FNB Namibia; Namibia Dairies; etc.
