Focusing on public health in the Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in Zambia through a wide range of interventions. I have promoted gender mainstreaming approaches throughout all areas of my work. This includes work on the Zambia National Gender Strategy, conceptualization of women’s economic empowerment activities in the WASH sector, and implementation of impactful WASH interventions in schools in Lusaka’s high-density, low-income areas. As well as the implementation of urban sanitation projects focusing of the delivery of OSS&FSM services and the implementation of decentralised sanitation solutions and systems.
