I have a master's degree in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies from Georgetown University. I have worked in Russian language open source surveillance, and methodology development at a government funded project at Georgetown University. I am interested in human rights, democracy promotion, rule of law, and access to media in Russia and Central Asia. I am familiar with Russian language traditional and social media.
I have strong research and writing skills. These were honed writing an honors history thesis at Davidson College, and in graduate school. I have interned at the State Department and in several programs at the Woodrow Wilson Center.
I have been in Washington, D.C. since 2008. I enjoy volunteering with animals in my free time.
