Andrea Lampis is a researcher and a consultant with experience with the European Union, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Colombian government. He can work in several developmental geographies and settings with his double citizenship (Italian and Colombian). He has two post-docs in Brazil, one from CEBRAP and the other from the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE/USP) of the University of São Paulo (2018-2023). He has a PhD in Social Policy from the LSE (UK) and a sociologist from the University of Rome (IT). His expertise in the areas of Social Policy, Energy Governance, Disasters, Energy Poverty, Energy Transition, Social Protection and Informality, together with a strong knowledge of operative planning tools makes him an ideal candidate for the role of Chief of Party or Senior Consultant. He speaks five languages.
