Civil Engineer and Economics diploma from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and M.Sc. in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. 15+ years of experience in policy, strategy, program and project design and execution for public, private and multilateral institutions in Colombia and abroad. Professional and personal interest to face the challenges of economic, territorial and social development. In contrast to most other specialist in these fields, which pursue these subjects on an isolated, sectoral way, I have been carrying out analyses from a systemic perspective for more than five years that provide new insights on ways in which to really address and solve long-standing development issues. I also consider training and knowledge transfer a key part of the development process as it is the only way to ensure that clients will be able to put to use these new perspectives, and that is why I have developed specific introductory or in-depth training schemes.
