Anees Ur Rehman

I am a results-oriented, effective leader and colleague, committed to promoting organizational values. Having more than 15 years of extensive experience working with large & complex international relief and development organizations in various capacities in countries Rwanda, Kenya, Liberia, Yemen and Pakistan. Particular strengths are in partnerships, leadership, change management process, people management, programme management, fundraising, business development, contract management advocating and implementing human rights-based approaches to development; building relations; effective representation and influencing at various levels; cultivating institutional donors, corporations and foundations and securing resources (cash/in-kind) for humanitarian and development programmes. I bring strong working experience in partnerships management, fundraising and programme management both humanitarian and development projects and successfully raised funds (multi-million dollars projects) from USAID, DFID, AusAid, ECHO, EU, IrishAid, Global Affairs Canada, Sida, Govt. of Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands, Norway etc, donors’ institutions, organizations, UN agencies and many other corporates and foundations. I also had experience in managing large offices (over 200 staff members) including supporting offices as an acting Country Director. My strengths are in strategic planning, development & execution of fund-raising & partnerships strategies, contract/grants management, coordinating country teams and engagement with government/donors at different levels and programme/projects.
